Eye Candy Geckos has undergone some major changes.  As a result, I felt it was time for a website overhaul.  This is my first attempt at using WordPress as a complete CMS (for those who aren’t as nerdy as me:  content management system), so please bear with me while I work out the bugs.  If anyone is interested, version 2 of the site will be running at www.eyecandygeckos.com/eyecandy2, but I won’t be making any more updates or changes.

As for those major changes, I’ve decided to take a hiatus from leopard gecko breeding.  As much as I love those amazing creatures, the time sink was just becoming too much to bear.  While I have parted with my collection of leopard geckos, I am still keeping a pair of Rhacodactylus Leachianus (New Caledonian Giant Gecko),  a pair of Uroplatus Phantasticus (Statanic Leaf-tailed Gecko), and our trio of Uroplatus Sikorae (Mossy Leaf-tailed Gecko).  We hope to see some propagation of the sikoraes soon, but it will be a while before we see offspring from the phants and even longer for the leachies.

In the meantime, I am making it a priority to turn this site into a comprehensive database for the care of leos, phants, sikoraes, and leachies.  I will do my best to compile husbandry information from several sources and share some of my own experiences.  If anybody would like to contribute information to this project, please feel free to contact me using the form on this page.
